Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School arranged a capacity building program for the faculty members of S & IC. The main idea of this workshop was to bring all the S&IC cell of the institutions under Unitech Society beneath one umbrella. Dr. Avinash Thakur, began the session with giving the audience a brief idea about the multiple phases of startup journey. He said that the major role of start up and incubation cell is to create a culture of incubation and motivation where young mind can grow and think innovatively.
He advised various ways in which the works done by the student during their internship can be scaled up where the best ideas can be converted into IPR or the startup. Some students presented their ideas during the workshop. Dr. Thakur then suggested that such ideas which are in the seed phase can be sent from pre-incubator cell to incubator cell after the validation of idea.
The session ended up with the consensus among the faculty members of S& IC from various institutes under Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society.
