Mood indigo is the Asia’s Largest Cultural Festival held in IIT BOMBAY every year.
Mood Indigo, affectionately known as MoodI or MI, is the cultural and signature festival of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. It is usually held towards the end of December every year. Started in 1971 by a group of students, it has attracted considerable media attention and numerous sponsors over time. Mood Indigo is also held in over 2000+ colleges and universities before ending in IIT Bombay.
The Competitions at Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay have consistently been one of the biggest platforms in India for young artists in several colleges across the globe to showcase their talents. Competitions at Mood Indigo have been the stage for college contingents from across the country. Competitions cover all the genres of art - Dramatics, Lifestyle, Literary arts, Speaking arts Fine arts, Visual arts, Film & Media, Music, Dance and journalism.
Every member of the competitions community not only awaits cash prizes and breath-taking LYP opportunities to kick-start their journey but also a lifetime of memories and the thrills that they experience at Mood Indigo.
Students of DYPBS Theatre Group represented Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School in National Level Drama Competition and won the Winner’s trophy for our institute.
Our students performed the Play on Superstition, Name “Muze Bharat Bechana Hai”. Superstition still exists in our society but way to follow superstition are different. We spread the awareness regarding modern superstition activities that our society is following the same.
