Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School comes with a rich legacy of imparting management education. It is located on a sprawling 7-acre pollution-free campus with a high-speed dedicated internet facility, air-conditioned smart classrooms, air-conditioned auditoriums, gymnasium, library, common activity area and music room. The campus has hostel facilities for students.

The institute is one of the few management institutes in Pune that have implemented ‘NEP 2020’ in their course structure.

The institute has a robust autonomous curriculum driven by technology. The curriculum is endorsed by the industry and is flexible to enable a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary approach. The curriculum is delivered through a hybrid model in the teaching-learning process, using LMS, and offers students dual specialization. The curriculum includes training in emerging areas like digital marketing, business analytics, tableau, SQL and Python.

The teaching is enhanced by pedagogy that involves case studies, management games, role plays, field trips, and real-life projects and surveys. The institute uses cutting-edge learning resources and tools, as well as online and offline teaching methodology. The curriculum focuses on hands-on training experience and includes skill enhancement. Unique features

Specializations: starts from the first semester to give students more time to grasp the intricacies of the specialization of their choice.

Certifications: There are two certifications per semester. Students can get two general management certifications in Semester I, one general management certification and one specialization certification in Semester II, and two specialization certifications in Semester III.

Coffee with corporate: A series of interactive sessions with experts from the industry over a cup of coffee. Sessions are conducted as per specializations.

Case-study based methodology: Nearly 30% of the learning in each subject is imparted through case studies and case-lets.

Module on industry analysis and business analysis: The module helps students study various aspects of the industry they choose to work in and understand its finer points.

Placement training: is a special emphasis on communication improvement in the placement training. Besides, students get aptitude training from the first semester itself. There are group discussion and role play, supported by the industry analysis module.

Personal grooming: Personal grooming is done through DMIT finger-print analysis – multiple intelligence test, and handwriting analysis. Besides, students are given a psychometric test to help them select their specialization.

Two workshops per semester: Two workshops are conducted every semester, which include a DMIT counselling workshop, a digital marketing workshop, SEBI young investors workshop, and a workshop by motivational speaker Anand Munshi.

Internships and live projects: institute provides opportunities to students to pursue internships and live projects in every semester.

Extra-curricular activities: Extra-curricular activities include outdoor management camps, annual management event, inter-college events, corporate seminars and sports tournaments.
