The institute makes admissions on the basis of entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA or MAT recognized by the Supreme Court, and further assessment based on personal interview and group discussion. Final admission is offered to the PGDM Program based on their performance in these rounds.
The admission or selection process begins with the issue of the admission notification. The institute informs the candidate about the start of the selection process as per the candidate’s preferred mode of communication – phone call, SMS or e-mail. The admission process happens online, as well as offline – on campus and off campus.
Candidates can apply offline by filling up and submitting the application form. Application forms are available on the campus and can be downloaded from the institute web site also. Candidates must submit their applications along with copies of various documents.
The offline selection process is conducted both on campus and off campus. The on-campus selection process takes place at the institute’s campus at Tathawade in Pune. The off-campus selection process takes place in several cities. A list of the centres is displayed on the institute’s web site. The selection panel visits these cities to conduct the selection process.
The assessment process consists of a Group Discussion (GD) or Extempore and a Personal Interview (PI). GD consists of a group discussion based on a particular topic to evaluate the candidates. The PI aims to assess a candidate’s general knowledge and interpersonal abilities.
A candidate’s previous academic record and professional experience are given proper consideration during the assessment process as per the current guidelines.
On the basis of the assessment process, the institute displays a merit list on the web site. The merit list includes the names of students who score more than 70% in the assessment process. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list are notified by phone call, SMS or e-mail, as per their preferred mode of communication. Besides, these candidates also receive a selection letter.
Candidates whose names appear on the merit list have to confirm their admissions within seven to ten working days.
