We welcomed the PGDM 2019-21 batch with an inauguration ceremony conducted on 01 June 2019. The dignitaries present were Dr. N. J. Pawar (Vice Chancellor, Dr. D. Y. Patil University), Mr. Bobby Kuriokose (HR, Forbes Marshall) and Ms. Smruti Dubey (Talent Management Specialist, Tata Consultancy Services).
Dr. Pawar enlightened the incoming batch on the heritage of Dr. D. Y. Patil University, its rich history and culture of imparting high quality education and professional skills to the PGDM students.
Mr. Kuriokose gave an industry overview and how the PGDM course can contribute to creating the next generation of leaders.
Ms. Smruti Dubey spoke about the world class processes of TCS and emphasized on the importance of goal setting, creating a long-term vision for self and building a plan for professional growth.
The induction program continued for a month after that and included Management Games, Sessions with Corporate Speakers, outbound programs and orientation modules for various Specializations.
