Brief Report :
The Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Elevating the Prowess of Educators,” organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School, Pune, was successfully conducted on 18th August 2023 in the institution’s seminar hall. The program aimed to empower educators with enhanced teaching methodologies, technological integration, and continuous professional growth. The resource person for the event was Dr. Samir Karkhanis, a distinguished expert in the field of education.
Dr. Samir Karkhanis initiated the program with an engaging session on enhancing pedagogical excellence. He delved into innovative teaching methods, student-centered approaches, and the importance of creating an inclusive learning environment. Interactive discussions and case studies were used to highlight effective assessment techniques that cater to diverse learning styles. Dr. Karkhanis stressed the significance of aligning teaching strategies with the needs of the modern learner.
