Brief Report

Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School arranged a workshop on case study delivered by Renowned Professor Alumni IIM, IIT.

Dr. Anand Karandikar who himself has written a book on real-time experience with Luna, Kinetic and several renounced companies. He was accompanied by Dr. Vasant Bang, a veteran educationist. During the workshop the students learned from Dr. Karandikar experience with different companies, projects and presentations further added to the learning outcome.


The workshop started with Dr. Mohd.O.Ahmad sir introducing the guest for the workshop – Dr. Anand Karandikar and presenting him a bouquet. Dr. Anand Karandikar started his talk by asking the audience if they knew about this case study’s. He then explained them about the case study of Camlin and Luna. He added that how this brand came into the market and grab their market sharers over there . In his talk he gave the full details of how they came into market and how they conquer the market, everthing he gave through the case study. After that he take some question from audience and then wrap the session. On very next day, Dr.Vasant Bang take the case study of Click photo printing systems pvt ltd. and Jade ring hospital. During the workshop the audience learned from their experiences at the different companies and also got awarded for best group and best questions which boosted them up to perform better in the future.


The two day’s workshop was very insightful for the participants which enabled the participants to understand all the case studies that will support managers in their choice decisions concerning how they make an impact in real world, and how they need to be designed so that customers are willing to engage in interactions.
