Dr.Harivansh Chaturvedi, Director of BIMTECH addressed the faculty members of D.Y.Patil B-School. His opening speech started with appreciations for Honourable Dr.Somnath Patil Sir for his Visionary Goals and State-of-Art Infrastructure at all the institutes under his leadership. Dr. Chaturvedi has shared the journey of BIMTECH from inception to all the members present.
He spoke on the Disruptive Technology and how important it isto keep in pace with the changing environment. Citing the example of Kodak he quoted that those who do not envision the future and are not ready to change at present, are the most likely to become the history. In his speech, he has stressed upon the need of long term association of faculty members with the institute is essential for achieving the milestones and vision of the institute. He stressed upon the formal/informal bonding between faculties and the management and cited it as one of the most important factor for employees satisfaction and retention. Speaking to the gathered audience/ faculty members he advised to keep themselves updated with the new things coming up in the society and the economy. If one fails to read everyday is certainly to lag behind their contemporaries.
He appreciated the Director and the team for the growth curve brought in a short span of 5 years. His words were very motivating and Inspiring. He has given assurance that he would guide and help in leading the incubation Centre of Dr. D Y Patil B-School to its zenith.
