Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School, driven by its commitment to nurturing student’s talent, hosted the Pune Times - Fresh Face event on December 6, 2018. This annual event, organized by the Times of India, aimed to showcase the hidden abilities of first-year students on a national stage. It offered them opportunities to feature in movies, strut down fashion runways, and more. Registrations commenced at 9:30 a.m., followed by the official start at 10:00 a.m., where each participant had a minute to display their skills in the initial round.
Judges selected finalists based on their first round performances, who then faced a question-answer round in the second stage. Winners were chosen based on their confidence and unique responses. Renowned Marathi actress Ruchita Jadhav presided as the judge for the day, witnessing remarkable performances. Arjita Jadon emerged as the victor with her graceful dance and articulate speaking skills, while Riya Jain and Vivek Shrotiya, both from Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School, secured the runner-up position. Dr. Amol Gawande, Director in charge of DPU's Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School, expressed satisfaction with the platform, emphasizing their dedication to unleashing student potential. This event indeed provided an outstanding platform for the institution's students, courtesy of Pune Times.
