On the eve of WORLD EARTH DAY, on 22nd April 2022 at Dr. D.Y. Patil Campus, DYPBS start-up and innovation cell organized a poster making competition to raise awareness about the challenges faced while maintaining the wellbeing of the planet. The judge for the evening was Dr.Arpit Trivedi . He helped the students by giving his valuable inputs and guidance. Students were given a topic " HEAL THE WORLD'' on the occasion of World Earth Day. The students were required to prepare a poster on anything related to the sustainability of the planet through handmade or digital posters and present their ideas in front of the faculties. The criteria setup for the selection of the winners were idea, creativity and presentation of the idea.
- Vivek Patil bagged the 1st prize.
- Athira Panicker got the 2nd prize.
- Garima Joshi & Ankit Talpekar secured the 3rd prize.
Key outcome of the activity:
To spread awareness about the challenges faced while maintaining the wellbeing of the planet, and prevent the depletion of earth's useful resources. This was done in a creative way by means of colourful posters and messages in the form of different arts.
