The DYPBS Startup and Innovation Cell organized an orientation session on Institution Innovation Council (IIC) 4.0 on 24th January 2022 on YouTube.
The orientation session was organized with the objective to throw light on all the achievements of Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School, to understand the new features added to the IIC 4.0 portal and how to use it, to know about IIC 4.0 registration and participation guidelines, to get glimpses of various programs and schemes of IIC institutions. The session also focused on getting awareness about Integrated Policy Approach for maximum impact – NISP+IIC+ARIIA and to understand how to build an efficient working environment and contribute towards growing the IIC network at a much larger scale.
Under the prominent leadership of the Ministry of Education (Government of India), Mr. Dipan Kumar Sahu stated about the future goals of the Ministry of Education to make IIC a movement in all Higher Educational Institutions in the near future. This will be a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s call for Atma Nirbhar Bharat.
Mr. Dipan Kumar Sahu stated that Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 which has been merged as 1st Semester, which was about to end in majority of institutions and all IIC institutions were expected to submit activity reports on IIC portal by the end of February, 2022 for evaluation and publish scores and stars for the same period.
He also stated that MIC is always striving to improve the functionality and performance of the IIC network by bringing innovation in terms of new features and approaches in every new edition of IIC and elaborated on the new features and structures to incentivize participation of numerous Higher Educational Institutions.
Mr. Dipan Kumar Sahu disclosed the new feature of IIC 4.0 as an upgraded version of IIC 3.0. Many features regarding monitoring & submission of reports, assessment criteria, star scheme, type of activities etc. have been added on IIC portal. IIC 4.0 is more comprehensive and will be able to establish a strong ecosystem of innovation, IPR and entrepreneurship in HEIs.
Key outcome of the activity:
Institution Innovation Council (IIC) 4.0 has various new features and training has been provided for optimum and absolute utilization of the updates.
