Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School organized an exciting one-day event called "Dandiya Night" to celebrate Navratri. The night commenced with the worship of Maa Ambe by the Director Dr. Amol Gawande and faculty members. The event kicked off with a traditional Bengali dance called "Durga Agomoni." Girls adorned in traditional Bengali attire danced to the tunes of Bengali folk songs. Following the Durga Aarti, students engaged in the energetic Garba dance, a traditional Indian dance form. All students, along with a few faculty members, enthusiastically participated in the Garba and later danced to Bollywood songs throughout the night.
The students were dressed in vibrant traditional attire, with the girls wearing ghagra cholis and the boys in kediyu outfits, adding to the festive atmosphere. Several prizes were awarded to enhance the students' enthusiasm, including awards for the best dance (male and female), best attire (male and female), and Garba King and Queen. The campus was adorned with the colors of culture, tradition, and laughter, making it a memorable celebration.
