On June 27th, the Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School family embarked on an industrial visit to Mapro, a leading innovator in processed fruit products in India, situated in Wai, Maharashtra. During the visit, students were provided with comprehensive information regarding the processing, storage, and supply of strawberries and processed fruit products. Mapro is renowned for its production of chocolates, jams, and beverages as well.
Later in the day, the students proceeded to Ludwick Point in Mahabaleshwar for an excursion, which was followed by a delightful and satisfying lunch. The breathtaking scenic beauty of Mahabaleshwar, accompanied by heavy rainfall, left everyone in awe.
Key outcomes of the activity:
The students have understood the process of manufacturing and how the industry works in a real scenario.
