Detail Report
As part of the vibrant Diksharambh 2025 Induction Program, the Bachata Dance Workshop was conducted on 26th June 2025, from 04:30 PM to 06:30 PM. The session was led by the dynamic duo Mr. Allan Dimbar and Ms. Leandra Joseph, Founders of Allanx Leandra, known for their energy and passion for Latin dance.
Open to both beginners and experienced dancers, the workshop introduced the PGDM and PGDM Global Batch 2025–27 students to the enchanting world of Bachata—a dance known for its romantic rhythms, flowing movements, and vibrant cultural roots. Participants learned basic footwork, partner techniques, and styling, all while grooving to the soulful beats of Latin music.
The session was interactive, fun-filled, and served as a great icebreaker, allowing students to bond, laugh, and move together in rhythm. Beyond the dance, the workshop offered a cultural immersion experience, connecting students to a global tradition that blends music, emotion, and expression.
Conclusion:
The Bachata Dance Workshop added a unique flavour to the induction program, creating a space for joyful learning and cultural exploration. It successfully broke the academic routine with rhythm and energy, leaving students inspired, recharged, and connected—not just to dance, but to each other. It was a celebration of expression, creativity, and the vibrant start of a new journey at DYPBS.
