Objective:
The session aimed to instill confidence, provide practical career advice, and impart critical insights into the skills necessary for MBA students to succeed in corporate environments. Emphasis was placed on understanding business fundamentals, communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, and adaptability skills essential across domains such as sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, and HR.

As part of the Diksharambh 2025–27 Induction Program, Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School was privileged to host a highly impactful corporate readiness session on 24th June 2025, delivered by Mr. Bimlesh Mishra, an esteemed industry expert.
The session commenced with a warm welcome and felicitation by Dr. Sheetal Darekar, Head of Placements. Mr. Sinha, known for his practical wisdom and deep corporate insights, shared real-world experiences based on his extensive work across interviews, talent hiring, and cross-functional business roles.
Drawing from over 450 interviews he conducted in the past fiscal year, Mr. Sinha emphasized the critical gap in foundational and soft skills among B-school graduates, urging students to reflect on their goals, understand business basics, and prepare strategically for interviews and corporate life.

1. Cognitive Skills & Business Understanding: Emphasis on data interpretation, analytics, and logical decision-making in solving real-world business problems.
2. Communication goes beyond speaking—it involves articulating thoughts, active listening, and collaborative dialogue.

1. This session offered the PGDM and PGDM Global students of the 2025–27 cohort a comprehensive framework for corporate success. Students walked away with:
