Objectives:

To provide students with an opportunity to learn from corporate professionals about the expectations of organizations.
Dr. Kiran Singh, Assistant Professor, delivered the welcome address and introduced Mr. Jitendra Shah, Group Therapy Manager at INTA’s Pharmaceuticals to the audience. Dr. Sheetal Darekar, Deputy Director and Head, Corporate Relations, felicitated the guest. The institute had the privilege of hosting Mr. Shah, for an insightful guest lecture on "Unlock the Corporate Future: Skills, Strategies and Mindset." Drawing from his extensive experience with reputed organizations such as RPG Life Sciences, Sun Pharma, Torrent Pharma, and INTA’s Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Shah shared his professional journey and growth across various roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
He structured his lecture around three key pillars essential for corporate success—Essential Skills, Strategies for Career Growth, and Mindset. Under Essential Skills, Mr. Shah emphasized the importance of communication, analytical thinking, leadership, and teamwork. He highlighted the growing relevance of digital and tech skills, business acumen, and adaptability, along with the need for time management, networking, and domain-specific knowledge.
In the segment on Strategies for Career Growth, he guided students on building a strong foundation of knowledge, crafting impactful resumes, and gaining practical exposure. He stressed the importance of targeting suitable roles, preparing thoroughly for interviews, and building a personal brand, while remaining flexible and open to change.
Mr. Shah also underlined the role of Mindset in professional development. He spoke passionately about cultivating a growth mindset, maintaining professional discipline, and developing
business-centric thinking. He further discussed the value of resilience, patience, ethical conduct, and team spirit in navigating corporate challenges.
Concluding his session, Mr. Shah encouraged students to develop a clear Action Plan to bridge the gap between their current state and future goals. His address was highly engaging, practical, and motivating, offering students a well-rounded perspective on preparing for the corporate world. The session left a lasting impact and reinforced the importance of continuous learning, self-awareness, and strategic planning.
At the end during the question-and-answer session, the students openly interacted with the guest speaker to clarify their doubts. Dr. Nirbhay Mishra, Professor, delivered a vote of thanks.
