Detail Report
Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School observed World Environment Day on 5th June 2025 with a Poster Competition based on the theme: “Green Business, Clean Future: Driving Sustainability Through Innovation.” The event, held from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, aimed to promote eco-conscious thinking and innovative solutions that align with business sustainability goals.
Participants included students from PGDM and PGDM Global batches who prepared visually impactful posters depicting their interpretations of eco-friendly entrepreneurship, sustainable technology, green supply chains, waste management, and carbon neutrality.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Khalid Harshad who addressed the students on the significance of environmental responsibility in the corporate world. A panel of faculty members judged the posters based on creativity, relevance to the theme, innovation, and clarity of message.
A total of 15 teams participated, with each team comprising 15 students. All participants were provided with basic materials such as colors, scissors, and chart paper. Students were given 45 minutes to prepare their posters. Once completed, the posters were collected by the organizers, and each team was given 2 minutes to present and explain their concept to the judges.

Winners were announced at the end of the event and were awarded certificates and eco-friendly goodies as tokens of encouragement. All participants received appreciation for their efforts in supporting the cause of sustainability through art and thought.
Team No. 08 – Aarambh was declared the Winner, and Team No. 02 – Phoenix was announced as the Runner-up.
The judges were felicitated by Dr. Asha Kiran, Dr. Archana Singh, Dr. Lokesh Arora, and Dr. Khalid Arshad in appreciation of their valuable contribution.

Increased student awareness and engagement with sustainability in business.
Strengthened commitment toward environment-friendly practices among future managers.
