Objectives:

1. To introduce students to the fundamentals of People Analytics in the context of modern HR practices.

A focused workshop on People Analytics was conducted by Mr. Rajesh Deshpande, for PGDM (HR) students. The objective was to bridge the gap between human resource management and data analytics, helping students gain an edge in the evolving HR landscape.

Workshop Highlights:

Week 1: Introduction to People Analytics
Students were introduced to the concept of People Analytics, its emergence in HRM, and how data is transforming traditional HR functions. Mr. Deshpande discussed real-life applications and the importance of data in understanding employee behavior, performance, and engagement.

Week 2: HR Metrics and Key Indicators
The second week focused on important HR metrics such as attrition rate, cost-per-hire, employee satisfaction index, and absenteeism rate. Students learned how to collect, interpret, and act upon these metrics through hands-on exercises and group discussions.
