A mentoring system has been introduced at the institution with the sole purpose of catering to the academic and personal development needs of the students. To nurture students and make them industry-ready, the Department of MBA has launched a Corporate Mentorship Programme. These programmes assist students in making informed career decisions, developing business acumen, and honing leadership skills. They also offer real-world insights that go beyond textbook knowledge. Through these mentorship interactions, students build strong professional networks, gain a better understanding of industry expectations, and bridge the gap between academia and the corporate world. Ultimately, corporate mentorship significantly enhances the employability of students.

As part of this initiative, Mr. Mohit Narayan, International Business Development Manager, GmbH, Germany, was invited to engage with the students of PGDM Marketing – B Class at D Y Patil B School (DYPBS), DPU, Pune. The session was conducted at the Auditorium of DYPBS, as part of the Corporate Mentorship Programme.

During his engaging and informative session, Mr. Narayan addressed key aspects of Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategy, providing practical insights and strategies for leveraging the power of digital channels for marketing success. The session focused on a wide range of topics, including:

Mr. Narayan emphasized the importance of understanding digital marketing as a holistic approach that involves connecting with consumers through various channels. He discussed the growing significance of data-driven decision-making and how businesses can track consumer behavior using digital tools to optimize marketing campaigns. His presentation also included examples from successful global marketing campaigns, highlighting best practices.

Following the presentation, Mr. Narayan conducted personalized mentoring sessions with students from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. These one-on-one interactions provided students with the opportunity to ask questions, gain tailored advice, and learn how to apply digital marketing strategies to real-world challenges.
