An Exclusive Event of Dance and Music Participants from Various B-Schools of Pune

Parakram 2025, the much-awaited cultural fest of Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School (DYPBS), was a grand spectacle of dance and music showcased a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and intercollegiate camaraderie. Held on 21st and 22nd March 2025 from 6:00 PM onwards, the event saw enthusiastic participation from various B-Schools across Pune. With a dazzling lineup of performances, the fest provided a platform for students to unleash their artistic creativity and engage in a spirited cultural exchange.
Dance Performances:
The dance segment of Parakram 2025 was a vibrant blend of styles, featuring:
Classical Performances – Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Odissi.
Contemporary and Western Styles – Hip-hop, Jazz, and Freestyle.
Fusion Dance Acts – Creative combinations of Indian and Western styles.
Each performance mesmerized the audience, showcasing technical brilliance and expressive storytelling.
Music Performances:
The musical showcases were equally captivating, featuring:
Solo and Group Singing Performances – Cover songs and original compositions.
Instrumental Acts – Melodic renditions on guitars, violins, and keyboards.

Intercollegiate Participation:
Parakram 2025 witnessed active involvement from numerous B-schools in Pune. Institutions such as Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM), and Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM) sent their best talents to compete and collaborate. This intercollegiate participation not only elevated the competitive spirit but also encouraged networking and mutual appreciation among students from different campuses.
The fest served as a melting pot of creativity and competitive spirit, fostering camaraderie among students from different institutions.

1. Inauguration Ceremony: The fest commenced with an inaugural address by the Director of DYPBS, and Dr. Rohini Somnath Patil emphasizing the importance of cultural activities in holistic education.
2. Star Performance: A special guest performance by a renowned dance troupe added glamour to the event, inspiring the student performers.
3. Award Ceremony: The fest concluded with an award ceremony recognizing outstanding performances in various categories, judged by a panel of esteemed artists and academicians.
