On 21st February and 22nd February, students from Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School had the opportunity to visit the Jejuri Industrial Area, one of the prominent industrial hubs in the region. The industrial visit was organized with the primary goal of providing students with firsthand exposure to the working environment of various manufacturing units. Dr. Khalid Arshad led the visit that provided a deep understanding of the industrial landscape, operational procedures, and the complexities involved in running a manufacturing business to the students.
During this visit, students explored four different companies, each specializing in distinct aspects of manufacturing. The companies visited were:

Each company offered unique insights into their respective fields, showcasing modern manufacturing practices, innovative processes, and the challenges faced in the industry.

Jay Industries (Day 1)
Jay Industries is known for its expertise in exporting products to foreign markets. The students were introduced to the business acumen required for exporting goods internationally. They learned about the importance of understanding global trade policies, supply chain management, and international market dynamics. The students also got an insight into the challenges of maintaining quality standards while catering to international markets, the documentation involved in exports, and how businesses navigate through customs regulations and tariffs.
