Objectives
1. To provide opportunities for young innovators to present their innovation through exhibition/presentation/visual demonstration and inviting other students to witness to get inspiration.
2. To engage Innovation Experts having experience in mentoring to provide mentoring support to the innovators.
3. To assign mentors to the innovators to help with further development of the innovation for commercialization.
Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School organized a three-day event on Innovation Showcase: Idea Generation and Presentation of Prototypes from 9th to 10th January 2025. The resource person for the event were Mr. Aditya Deshpande, who is the Senior Incubation Manager from Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society.
The three-day event featured the presentation of various business models and prototypes developed by the participants, who are students from Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School. This occasion also included a brainstorming session, where participants not only showcased their ideas but also provided valuable feedback to each other, creating an atmosphere of collaboration and innovation.
Mr. Deshpande offered his expert guidance and insights, helping the participants refine their prototypes and business models. The session was designed to encourage interaction, with the focus on developing practical, scalable, and impactful solutions for real-world challenges.
For three days, the students of various specializations presented their business models.

The event included a presentation of several promising business prototypes, with three standout projects emerging from the session. Below are the details of the prototypes that were finalized during the event:
Herbal PCOS Aid
Founder: Kalpesh Rajendra Badgujar
Overview: Herbal PCOS Aid focuses on addressing women's health issues, specifically Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), through herbal remedies. The startup has successfully cleared the Ideation Round and is preparing to move forward with further development. With the support of the Startup and Innovation Cell (S&IC) and the Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society’s Incubation Center, the team is set to transform their concept into a viable and impactful healthcare solution.
Key Focus: Women's health, herbal remedies, and wellness innovation.
Cinematica
Founders: Amit Vishwakarma, Subham Kedia, Aditya Khilari, Srushti Charde
Overview: Cinematica is a unique startup that has successfully cleared the Ideation Round and is ready to advance to the next phase of development. The business model focuses on creating innovative solutions in the entertainment industry, leveraging technology to enhance the cinematic experience.
Key Focus: Film and entertainment industry, technological integration, and creative innovation.
Nature’s Black Gold
Founders: Preet Patel and Jaydeep Patel
Overview: Nature’s Black Gold focuses on sustainable agricultural practices, specifically leveraging the benefits of organic compost and natural fertilizers. This startup aims to contribute to environmental sustainability while promoting healthier farming practices.
Key Focus: Sustainable agriculture, composting, organic farming solutions.
Brainstorming Session:
Following the presentations, a highly interactive brainstorming session was conducted. Participants not only received feedback from Mr. Deshpande but also engaged with one another, offering suggestions, exploring new possibilities, and refining their ideas. This session allowed participants to consider alternative approaches, improve their prototypes, and gain insights into various aspects of business development, including marketing, scalability, and sustainability.
Mr. Deshpande's expertise provided participants with valuable perspectives on how to enhance their business models, ensuring they are both innovative and feasible. The brainstorming session encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, and collaborative problem-solving.
