Objectives
1. To organize an intra institutional competition between PGDM students of Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School.
2. To declare the best innovator.
Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School organized an exciting intra-college competition between the PGDM courses. The event focused on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship skills among the students by challenging them to present the most innovative and practical business ideas. This one-day session was packed with presentations, discussions, feedback, and a competitive environment that pushed the participants to think critically and creatively.
Competition Overview: The competition was structured into multiple phases:
1. Team Formation: Students formed teams across different courses to brainstorm and develop innovative business ideas.
2. Presentation Round: Each team presented their business idea, focusing on innovation, feasibility, and market potential.
3. Feedback & Confrontation: Teams were given the opportunity to discuss their ideas with mentors and peers, receiving constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement.
4. Final Presentation: After incorporating feedback, the teams presented their refined ideas.
5. Award Ceremony: The best team, judged on creativity, practicality, and business potential, was awarded as the top innovator.
The competition was graced by Dr. Raja Roy Choudhary, CEO of Advent Synergy, Senior Vice Chairman of Darwin Group of Companies, and Senior Professor of Practice at Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School. With a wealth of experience in both academia and the corporate world, Dr. Choudhary provided valuable insights and feedback to the teams. His expertise helped guide the participants in refining their ideas and understanding the practical applications of their concepts.
