Objectives:
The primary aim of this session was to facilitate a deeper understanding of the newly released General Budget by dissecting its critical components, evaluating its impact on various sectors, and discussing its broader economic implications. This initiative provided a platform for students to sharpen their analytical skills, develop policy perspectives, and engage in meaningful discourse.


On Tuesday, 11th February 2025, the seminar hall at Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School witnessed an engaging and insightful panel discussion titled "Breaking Down the Budget, Building Up Perspectives." This intellectually stimulating event brought together the PGDM Batch 2024-26, who took the stage as panelists and moderators to analyse the key highlights, economic impacts, and future implications of the General Budget.

The discussion was structured into several thematic segments, ensuring a comprehensive breakdown of the budget:

1. Macro-Economic Overview:
o The panelists examined the fiscal deficit, GDP projections, and overall economic growth outlook.
