Brief Report :
The vibrant festival of Saraswati Puja was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm on February 14, 2024, at our college campus. Organized by the student body, the event aimed to honor the goddess of knowledge, wisdom, and arts, Saraswati.
The campus was adorned with colorful decorations, predominantly in shades of yellow and white, symbolizing purity and knowledge. Elaborate rangolis depicting the goddess Saraswati were beautifully crafted at the entrance and around the puja area. Traditional motifs and floral arrangements added to the festive ambiance.
Puja Ceremony:
The day commenced with a traditional puja ceremony conducted by the college priest. Students and faculty members gathered around the beautifully decorated idol of Saraswati to seek her blessings for wisdom, academic success, and creative endeavors. Vedic chants filled the air as incense wafted through the surroundings, creating a serene atmosphere conducive to prayer and meditation.
Cultural Performances:
Following the puja rituals, a series of cultural performances added vibrancy to the celebration. Students showcased their talents through music and dance, to pay homage to the goddess Saraswati. Classical and folk performances intertwined with contemporary renditions, reflecting the diverse cultural heritage of our college community.
