Brief Report:
On January 30, 2024, Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School’s Startup, and Innovation Cell in Collaboration
with the IIC, arranged a Mentoring Event at their Tathawade campus in Pune. The resource
person and chief Speaker of this session was Mr. Avelo Roy, Managing Director, and start-up
Mentor at Kolkata venture. The event started with a warm welcome of guests and a round of
applause.
The topic of this session was Minds of Tomorrow Mentorship Event aimed to provide invaluable
support and guidance to students, empowering them to navigate their academic and professional
journeys successfully. The event underscored the significance of mentorship in shaping the
future leaders and innovators of society. To foster a sense of community, students were
encouraged to participate in group discussions and present ideas for startup. They presented their
ideas and the resource person observed and shared his valuable feedback. This facilitated the
exchange of ideas, challenges, among students, creating a collaborative environment for
collective growth. Recognizing the importance of equipping the minds of tomorrow with
essential skills, the event featured workshops focused on skill development. Topics included
communication skills, problem-solving, and leadership, ensuring students gained practical
knowledge beyond traditional academic approach.
