Description:
Mr. Amit Jain started the session by stating that data analysis becomes essential part of every day life. The session included the brief description of R and its basic commands. The participants were given a worksheet which had basic R commands that they might need for programming. Starting from very basics the instructor moved to various input and output methods. He also introduced another important concept - visualization capabilities. Background behind functional programming was presented - including building one’s own functions. The workshop was very interactive. Specific topic covered in each session with multiple examples.
The session was very insightful for the participants which equipped the participants to get up to speed fast. Biggest emphasis put on real examples and programming oneself. Ms. Sheetal Darekar, Assistant Professor, thanked the resource person and all the participants present.
