A workshop on “ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS , ATTITUDE AND

BEAHAVIORAL DEVELPOMENT ” for the students of Dr. D.Y Patil B-School (batch 2021-2023) was organized by Dr. D.Y Patil B-School Startup and Innovation Cell in collaboration with AIC Pinnacle on February 4, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. via Zoom platform.

The workshop focused on how entrepreneurs think differently from others. Mr. Deepesh Kuruppath (CEO- CARGOFL, INNOCTIVE TECHNOLOGIES PVT.

LTD.) was the speaker of the session. He gave insights about understanding the market and growth opportunities and how machine learning is wow factor in the business that makes a business different from other businesses and how adopting A.I in the business will be a turning point. He quoted the fact by giving the example of his own startup CARGOFL wherein he used these and succeeded. The resource person guided the students about EV market in India. As government is focusing on deployment of DC fast chargers at various highways so that EV market can get a boost. So startups in EV sector will be worth off. He also discussed about Fin-Tech Markets in India. He also highlighted about the major financial intermediaries in this sector.

According to him, Start Up is all about 5 things to be kept in mind, which are: -

  1. Identifying the problem statement which an entrepreneur wants to address.
  2. Solving the problem by breaking it into smaller parts for effective resolution.
  3. Creating a value scale around the problem.
  4. Being empathetic and connecting to a social cause.
  5. And finally, the profit for which the business is established.

According to him, strategy plays a key role in businesses. Proper strategy has to be made to acquire customer base. By giving example of Genghis khan & Jamukha, he made the students realize the importance of strategy.

It was a meaningful session for everyone and all were enriched by the valuable thoughts of Mr. Kuruppath.

Key outcome of the activity:

It helped in unleashing entrepreneurship skills among students and building the right attitude towards innovation eco-system in the campus.
