Our Institute, DR. D. Y. Patil B-School organised a CSR activity for spending a day with Underprivileged children and Adults on 31 August 2017 at Prerna Bhavan, Wakad, Pune. This godly act was performed by all the students of PGDM of 2017-18 as well as 2018-19 batch accompanied by senior Faculties under their guidance. Prerna Bhavan one of the centre initiated by Mother Teresa run with the mission to care for “the hungry, the naked, the homeless, the crippled, the blind, the lepers and all those who feel unwanted, unloved, uncared for throughout society, people that have become a burden to the society and are shunned by everyone. This centre consists of around 200 people which includes children and adults.

Our visit at Prerna Bhavan was filled with delightful moments. We spent a few hours with them, singing, dancing, Sketching and interacting with each and every one. Vada Paw was distributed among all for Brunch as children there are fond of it. We could see their happiness in their actions. Their hearts filled with Unconditional love and loneliness reflected well through those glittering eyes.It was a day which not only brought about a change in their lives but has also left a mark on each one of ours memory.
“Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love” and with this thought in mind we achieved the mission of Our Institute “A life not lived for others is not a life”.

Key outcome of the activity:

“Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love” and with this thought in mind we achieved the mission of Our Institute “A life not lived for others is not a life”.
