The DPU Rotaract Club organized a tree plantation event on the 17th of January 2019 at Bal Kalyan Sanstha, University Road, under the guidance of Prof. Vishal Wadajkar. The primary objective of this plantation was to contribute to the maintenance of greenery in the city and to promote the overall betterment of the environment. During this activity, students had the opportunity to learn about various types of saplings and plants, as well as the proper methods for their plantation. Additionally, several senior citizens actively participated in the event, sharing their experiences and raising awareness about environmental safety through tree planting.
Key outcome of the activity:
Through this activity, students got information about different varieties of saplings and plants and their methods of plantation.
