Brief Report-
Dr.Asha Kiran, Innovation coordinator, IIC Cell, has initiated the session with a brief note on National Technology Day. The 11th day of May is an important day for India as on this day in the year 1998, India achieved a technological and very significant milestone in the world. Also spoke about the several initiatives being taken by Government of India to inspire young aspiring minds and motivate them to live life in the pursuit of technological advancement.
The Quiz on the occasion of “National Technology Day” was conducted as part IIC 5.0, initiative under Ministry of Education’s Institution’s Innovation council program, aimed at fostering the culture of innovation and start-up ecosystem in education institutions. The Quiz was mainly aimed at creating awareness about technological advancements.
The Techno-quiz was conducted on Kahoot online platform and students enjoyed the event.
Under the prominent leadership of the Director and Chief-Advisor, Dr. Amol Gawande, DYPBS Start-Up and Innovation Cell has been established to promote innovation in the institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation, promoting entrepreneurial eco-system in the campus.
There was overwhelming response from the enthusiastic students throughout the event.
