The “My Story” – Motivational Session by Successful Entrepreneur with 97 participants was held virtually on 10 th January, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. via Zoom platform by Dr. D. Y. Patil B- School. The President of DYPBS Startup and Innovation Cell, Dr. Sonali Saha welcomed the Chief Guest Mr.Prashant Udas, Founder of ‘Eureka Executive Search’ organisation.
Under the prominent leadership of the Director and Chief-Advisor, Dr. Amol Gawande, DYPBS Start-Up and Innovation Cell has been established to promote innovation in the institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation, promoting entrepreneurial eco-system in the campus.
Mr. Prashant Udas, spoke about his organisation and the shared with students, the motivation behind establishing his start-up. Besides this, he also shared the challenges he had to come across in the process of transforming his ideas into reality and establishing a start-up. His experiential learnings were very useful to the students. His success story was very motivating which has sowed a seed of becoming an entrepreneur in the minds of many students. He has ensured to guide and mentor students in their respective journeys towards starting their own ventures.
The event being an engaging, interactive, and creative learning experience, saw an overwhelming response of enthusiastic students and faculties throughout the session that ended with a positive note – “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing”.
Key outcome of the activity:
Understanding the steps involved in establishing a start up and initiatives to be taken to overcome the challenges faced during the process of transforming the ideas into reality.
Material
Speaker shared with the participants of the event details about his journey of becoming a successful entrepreneur. He briefed them about his business. He then enumerated on the driving factors behind the shaping of a successful entrepreneur - following one's passion, working with the right squad, manifesting a positive attitude towards life and never giving up even in the face of debacles. These words made an impact on the listeners, motivating them to ask questions and interact with him.
He also warned the participants that they should be prepared for failures, and march ahead with a firm and determined mind. He asked the students to become an entrepreneur who is approachable and who can communicate. He concluded the session by highlighting the perks of being an entrepreneur. He pointed out that as an entrepreneur, you can be your own boss, be highly satisfied in what you are doing and enjoy financial independence. An entrepreneur has plenty of scope and freedom to experiment and the possibilities for growth are limitless. The speaker Mr. RanjanSathish, Founder, Hello Save Earth Foundation, Bangalore, addressed the gathering at Seminar Hall 6, on 18/12/2021 Finally, the participants were asked to share their impressions of the session. The feedback was very good, as the students found the session highly motivating.

- Interpersonal skills required for an entrepreneur
- Practical entrepreneurial skills and knowledge The students got a lot of technical inputs regarding start-ups.
