While any day makes for a great opportunity to celebrate the women in your life, International Women’s Day gives you one more reason to recognize women’s incredible achievements, raises awareness and encourages others to advocate for gender equality.
Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School celebrated Women’s Day on 8th March 2022 in the campus with full enthusiasm. A full-fledged entertainment program was planned.
All the teaching and non-teaching staff were invited and were welcomed with a huge applause. Further in the program, there were dance performances by the students. The faculties enjoyed the performances very much. Followed by the games organized for the faculties. Most of the faculties participated with great enthusiasm in the games and the winning faculties received gifts in return.
In the end there was a tribute to all women from the Startup Club in the form of a video comprising the photographs of all the teaching and non-teaching staff of Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School.
At the end, our director Dr. Amol Gawande, presented a flower to each female faculty, followed by cake cutting and picture clicking and making memories for life.
Key outcome of the activity:
The event helped in motivating female faculties and developing a sense of belongingness towards the institution.
