Internal Smart India Hackathon – “Innovative Life Hacks Challenge” Dypbs Start-up and Innovation Cell

Objectives:

Smart India Hackathon 2022 is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving.

The Event “Internal Smart India Hackathon – Innovative Life Hacks Challenge” was conducted as part of Smart India Hackathon 2022 (SIH-2022), which is a national initiative launched by AICTE and MoE aimed at providing students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and to inculcate a culture of product innovation and problem-solving mentality. 

There was good response from the students. The President of DYPBS Startup and Innovation Cell, Dr. Sonali Saha addressed the students and the Innovation Coordinator Dr.Asha Kiran S, briefed the students about the “Internal Smart India Hackathon” and shared the rules and regulations of the event. The event was organised in an hybrid mode.

Under the prominent leadership of the Director and Chief-Advisor, Dr. Amol Gawande, DYPBS Start-Up and Innovation Cell has been established to promote innovation in the institution through multitudinous modes leading to an innovation, promoting entrepreneurial eco-system in the campus.

There was overwhelming response from the enthusiastic students throughout the event. 

Results: 

  1. Winner : Arpit Kulkarni, PGDM Sem-II

2. First Runner Up : Selja Mangal, Vaibhavi Sharma, Mahima Singh, PGDM Sem-II

3. Second Runner Up: Deesha Nagar, PGDM Sem-II

Key outcome of the activity:

Raise awareness about smart India hackathon, where students can present ideas to solve some of the problems faced by different public and private organisations. This event could unleash innovative temper among the students.
