On October 30th, the Rotaract Club of DPU, in collaboration with Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School, successfully organized Raktdaan 1.0, a Blood Donation Camp held on the campus of Dr. D. Y. Patil B- School. The event took place from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM and was driven by the noble purpose of contributing to the saving of lives through voluntary blood donations.

A remarkable total of 101 students and faculty members wholeheartedly participated in the event by generously donating their blood. This initiative not only served to secure vital blood donations but also extended support to the dedicated doctors and nurses at the blood bank. In recognition of their exceptional dedication and contribution to the community, the Rotaract Club of DPU was honored with a certificate of appreciation.

The Blood Donation Camp emerged as a resounding success, fostering both awareness about the significance of voluntary blood donation and the spirit of collaboration within the community for this noble cause.

This remarkable event exemplified the profound impact that coordinated efforts can have on promoting a culture of voluntary blood donation.
