Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School’s Mitra – Counselling and Wellness Cell was founded on the principle that mental health should be approached holistically. What began as a support system for students and faculty has now grown into a vibrant ecosystem that offers psychological counselling, psychometric testing, therapeutic programs, and mindfulness-based interventions—all under one roof.

At its core, Mitra believes in blending traditional counselling techniques with evidence-based practices rooted in psychology, spirituality, and mindfulness. Recognising the emotional complexities of modern life—from academic pressure to workplace burnout—Mitra designs compassionate, adaptable programs that foster resilience, emotional clarity, and inner balance.

With growing success in academia, Mitra has expanded its reach to the corporate world, addressing challenges such as stress, burnout, ethical leadership, and decision-making. Through immersive mindfulness and spirituality-based sessions—including meditation, value-based dialogue, and reflective practices—Mitra cultivates grounded leaders, mindful teams, and healthier organizations.
