   University of California, Riverside Extension, USA (UCR)

The University of California, Riverside Extension is one of 10 universities within the prestigious University of California system and the only UC located in Inland Southern California. Widely recognized as one of the most ethnically diverse research universities in the nation, UCR currently hosts about 22,000 students, with 900 instructional faculty, including 660 ladder-rank faculty.

The campus is in the midst of a tremendous growth spurt with new and remodeled facilities coming on-line on a regular basis. UC Riverside Extension has received recognition in many national and international rankings, including:

  • Time Magazine ranked UC Riverside Extension #1 based on metrics of graduation rate, affordability, and the financial aid available to students.
  • Washington Monthly (August 2016) ranked UC Riverside Extension #12 in the nation in its annual University and College Survey.
  • U.S. News and World Report Survey (September 2016) ranked UC Riverside Extension #118 overall; earns "Great Schools, Great Prices".

    • Bourns College of Engineering - #71 among ranked schools
  • UC Riverside Extension was included in the (August 2015) edition of The Princeton Review's "The Best 379 Colleges."
  • Shanghai Jiao Tong University (August 2016) Academic Ranking of World Universities ranked UC Riverside Extension among the top 151 to 200 institutions. This survey bills itself as "the most trustworthy precursor of global rankings of the world’s top 500 universities."
